Soundscape AI

The research project was funded by the Science and Technology Development Fund (FDCT) of the Macao SAR. It ultimately aims to create an embedded Artificial Intelligence system to analyse environmental sound and offer an understanding of the city soundscape evolution. Hundreds of hours of recording were done in Macao and are being analysed.

The objective was to give a visual experience of travelling (soundwalk) in Macau and emphasize the soundscape and the audio experience through different audio techniques and effects.
